  • When was MMT founded?

    It was founded in 2004 by psychiatrists who have recognized that their patients need health services beyond direct patient care and one such need is non-emergency medical transportation.

  • What service area do you cover?

    We have no radius limitation within the State of California.

  • Do you offer any other type of transporation besides medical?

    Yes. We can provide transportation services to private customers for any event.

  • How much does your services cost?

    $10 per pick-up plus $3.50 per mile. Each pick-up has a $35 minimum. We offer competitive rates for long-term service contracts. Please call for details.

  • What are your hours of service?

    Our regular service hours are M-Sat from 7AM-6PM but special arrangements can be made outside of those hours with 48 hours advance notice.

  • Are you licensed?

    Yes. We comply with all regulations and permits required by State and Federal agencies (DMV, City of Long Beach). We are also enrolled with the Public Utility Commission to provide taxi service in California.

  • What kind of vehicles do you have?

    Our vans have a seating capacity of 7, 12, 14 and 15 passengers, all of them equipped with fire extinguishers and emergency medical kits. We also have mini-buses for clients who require more space.

  • Who are your drivers?

    All our drivers have a commercial driver’s license and are trained to meet the needs of our clients. All our drivers are First-Aid and CPR trained and are enrolled in the Federal Drug/Alcohol Random System (DOT) and DMV Pull Notice Program.
